Hi, first time visitor of your blog and I love it. I really like this book "Deep Human Connection" by Stephen Cope. In it, he introduced this concept of "feeling felt," which I understand as sharing such a deep trust and connection with someone that you feel their emotions and experiences personally. That's also when words are no longer needed. I think you'd like that book. Looking 4ward to future posts from you :)

Reading this post makes me so clearly feel connected to you in that I also have an intense lifelong desire to meet someone who feels the beauty of the world as you describe. I live in SF and perceive this beauty all the time and also feel like no one truly gets the joy of simply existing in such wondrous splendor. I long to meet a friend such as yourself, and your writing is a bittersweet reminder that they exist within mere miles of me, I just haven't found them, or you, somehow. Best of luck :)

Excellent poem, and excellent post.

I myself think that language can contain every thought, but that's no guarantee that the listener of your words will have the same thoughts as you.

This is really great writing Eva. I will never forget the first time I fully experienced everyone truly living in their own separate reality. It both confirms our existential aloneness and yet connects us all to that shared experience of eternal uniqueness.
