By Lee Krasner True story: I’m writing this in the gym locker room because it’s raining outside and I don’t feel like walking to my coworking space. True story: all my weekdays are exactly the same. I wake up, get coffee, type on my laptop for a few hours, go to the gym/go for a run, hang out with a friend, and split a bottle of wine with S. I’m usually reading in by bed by 12 AM.
I have been working on a side project full-time for a month now. I quit my job to do this. Initially getting a very primitive version online was very quick and easy. I was so thrilled! But as I am working through the features list I have planned for the first public launch I am getting bored and doubtful. Now my goal is to just show up, work throughout the list, and launch as quickly as possible.
I too am recently subscribed and thoroughly enjoying these reflections and checking their relevance to my life. Which is definitely the case. Thank you.
Your timing is impeccable! I am definitely that person who thrives in the exciting learning phase, but then abandons the project once I hit the difficult middle stage. On to the next shiny distraction.
