FWIW, I was diagnosed 11 years ago with ADHD. What worked amazingly well for me (YMMV) was amino acid supplements, with a Vitamin-B complex. Acetyl-l-carnitine for the ADHD, and 5-htp for the sensitivity, 100-200 mg/day (varies a lot from person to person). Totally changed my life--my income freaking tripled, moved to a job that fulfills my values, etc.
